Charlotte's Web engaged my team with a core problem: at the time, no commerce platform would work with a hemp or cannabis site, or so they thought. Magento was the only platform that would work with brands in the cannabis and hemp space, but the license was pretty expensive for the young brand.


Enter my team. We needed to design a site that was not only engaging and motivating and drove conversion, but also one that was cost effective to build and could be completed quickly.


We partnered with our parent agency to gain access to large amounts of consumer and behavioral data, which we used to validate and evolve exisitng client personas.


We were able to reuse our internal design system and component manager (which I created, ask me about BuildKit) to quickly scaffold a site with UI componets that were not only fully skinnable, but also fully compatible with Magento's PageBuilder system.


The result was an effective, efficient and beautiful site. At least, that's what The W3 Awards said.
