Gates was trying to reshape their brand as they prepared for an IPO. They had an extremely fragmented web presence consisting of 88 global websites with no governance, no centralized data to share, and no rules on marketing and publishing.
Gates initially engaged my team for a proof of concept and global competitor assessment, which ultimately led to an overarching strategy that resulted in a multi-phase digital transformation program to refocus brand positioning, accelerate demand generation, and then finally, a global ecommerce rollout.
